Paul McIntosh was born on the family farm in Manitoba Canada. He began making up "songs" at the age of three on the piano in the living room which overlooked the historic and beautiful Winnipeg River. As a young man, Paul travelled  with a backpack for the better part of a year ,  played a lot of hockey and earned a degree in Agriculture before he returned for good, to take over the family farm. Somewhere along the way he discovered Dougie McLean , Willie P Bennet and Stephen Fearing. The music of these men planted a seed in him.  The farming operation has grown but Paul continues to write songs and now records and performs them as well. He has won some songwriting acclaim in a couple of contests including the Country Music Television / NSAI song contest. Paul tells stories in his songs which bring to life the beauty and romance of life on the family farm as well as the tribulations. With his  eye to the personal and  to the "heart" of a story , his music will draw you in and make you part of his world.
